Because we ship direct, where we’re based matters less than how fast we reach you. We build and dispatch from our West Kelowna facility — and we’re opening a second Canadian production hub in Ontario, with manufacturing, local delivery, and in-person pickup, so your fence ships from closer to home.
Where & How We Deliver
We ship factory-direct freight onto your property — and our own crew unloads it. We currently serve British Columbia and Alberta; Saskatchewan and Eastern Canada reopen as our Ontario production hub comes online.

Our Story
BarrierBoss started the way most real businesses do — out of frustration. Our founder Bobby saw what the fencing industry was selling: thin-gauge panels marked up twice, shipped by third-party freight companies who didn’t care if your order showed up bent. He knew there was a better way.
We set up our West Kelowna manufacturing facility, invested in commercial roll-forming equipment, and started building fencing the way it should be built — heavy-gauge steel, proper welding, hand-finished by our crew. No middlemen. No distributors. No excuses.
Every single panel that leaves our facility is built to order. We don’t warehouse inventory and hope it sells. You order it, we build it, we deliver it. Factory-direct, the way it should be.
How We Build It
This isn’t a print-on-demand operation. Our panels go through a real manufacturing process:
- Roll Forming — Commercial-grade steel is fed through precision roll-forming equipment to create our corrugated, ribbed, and deep-groove profiles. Consistent gauge, consistent quality, every time.
- Welding & Assembly — Hog wire and cattle panels are welded by our crew using 6-gauge galvanized wire. Every joint is inspected. We don’t ship anything we wouldn’t install on our own property.
- Finishing — Hot-dip galvanized coating or dip-coated finish, depending on the product. Built to handle rain, snow, UV, and wildfire zones without rusting or warping.
- Quality Control — Every order is inspected before it goes on the truck. If it doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t ship. Period.
We Don’t Sell It If We Wouldn’t Build With It
That’s not a tagline — it’s how we operate. Every product in our catalogue has been tested, installed, and evaluated by our own team. We know how these panels hold up through a −30°C Prairie winter and a dry Okanagan summer. We know how they handle Coastal rain and wildfire zones. We know because we’ve built with them ourselves.
When a contractor calls us asking which panel works best for a hillside install in the BC interior, we don’t read from a spec sheet. We tell them what we’d use — because we’ve done it.
