Summary

These hybrid panels give you both: solid lower privacy from 26-gauge corrugated steel and open airflow up top from a 6-gauge hot-dipped, heavy-galvanized hog wire topper — colour-matched for a seamless look. The hog wire is galvanized after welding, so the welds resist corrosion competitors' pre-galvanized panels can't. Finished in UV-resistant NoFade HDP (Black, Brown, Grey, Corten or Silver), framed in Pressure Treated lumber or Western Red Cedar, 8' wide and 4'-8' high. Backed by our 40-year warranty.

Description

Corrugated Metal & Hog Wire Hybrid Fence Panels | Privacy + Airflow

Why Choose This Hybrid Fence

These Corrugated Metal & Hog Wire Fence Panels from BarrierBoss combine solid privacy from rugged corrugated steel with open airflow from a heavy-duty hog wire topper—delivering security, ventilation, and modern style in one versatile panel.

Pro Tip: Choose these panels for areas needing lower privacy (backyards, patios, pools) while allowing breeze and visibility at the top—ideal for creating open yet secure boundaries.

The Perfect Blend of Form and Function

Need privacy without sacrificing airflow? These Corrugated Metal & Hog Wire Fence Panels offer the ideal solution. This hybrid design features durable 26-gauge corrugated metal for full lower privacy and a sturdy 6-gauge hot-dipped and heavy galvanized hog wire topper for ventilation and visibility—matched to your selected panel colour for a seamless, unified look when ordered.

Each panel is framed with your choice of Pressure Treated lumber—pre-finished in warm honey-brown—or Western Red Cedar for a classic, rich appearance. Both framing options resist warping, twisting, and splitting, keeping your fence straight and reliable over time.

The corrugated panels are finished with high-quality NoFade HDP in Black, Brown, Grey, Corten Steel, or Silver (Galvalume). These finishes stand strong against rust, peeling, fading, and harsh weather.

Panel sizes range from 4' to 8' high (all 8' wide), giving you plenty of options to suit your space. The hot-dipped and heavy galvanized hog wire topper ensures excellent corrosion resistance, making these panels suitable for residential yards, commercial perimeters, or agricultural settings.

From backyard privacy to driveway lining or business boundaries, these panels bring rugged strength, modern appeal, and practical versatility.

Did You Know? This corrugated steel base paired with a hog wire topper draws from proven farm and ranch designs—now refined for contemporary residential and commercial spaces with unmatched durability.

Galvanized After Welding — Why Our Welds Don't Rust

Every BarrierBoss panel is Class 3 heavy galvanized — the heaviest standard wire galvanizing class — applied AFTER welding, then sealed in our heavy-duty dip-coated. Welds are the natural weak point of any welded panel: typical competitor panels are welded from pre-galvanized wire, which burns the zinc off every wire intersection and leaves hundreds of bare-steel points hiding under a thin dip-coated. That's where they rust first. Our zinc goes on after the welds are made, so the entire panel — welds included — carries full protection. It's the reason we back the wire and finish for 40 years, nearly three times the coverage of leading hog wire competitors.

📐 Custom Sizing

Most projects fit the sizes listed on this page — those are what we build, stock and price online.

We do make custom sizes within our standard range, and we quote them case by case. If your run falls between two listed sizes — say you need 7′ 6″ when we list 7′ and 8′ — we can build it. The cost depends on the dimensions, the profile and how much material the cut leaves behind, so custom sizes are not listed or priced on the site. Send us the measurements and we will tell you what is possible and what it costs.

Custom sizes are final sale. A panel cut to your dimensions cannot be restocked or sold to anyone else, so custom-sized orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Please confirm your measurements before you approve the quote.

These products can all be modified on site. Trimming a panel to close out a run is normal work, and you do not need us to do it for you — ask and we will walk you through how to cut and seal it properly so the finish holds up.

Just know that a cut edge is no longer a factory edge: cutting or drilling exposes unprotected steel and voids the steel & coating warranty on that component. Done the right way and sealed properly it will still last — so ask us before you cut.

🏅 Warranty

STEEL & WIRE — BarrierBoss 40-Year Warranty on the core wire and finish. Dual-layer protection: Class 3 heavy-galvanized zinc applied AFTER welding (the heaviest standard class; competitors electro-galvanize with a fraction of the zinc) + heavy-duty fluidized dip-coat on top
CORTEN OPTIONS — Bare weathering steel; the natural rust patina is intentional and protective (no coating warranty applies)
TREATED LUMBER FRAME — Kiln-Dried, Copper-Azole Pressure-Treated; Lifetime Limited Warranty against structural failure from fungal decay or termite damage — ground-contact and above-ground retention classes, when installed per applicable building codes. Field cuts must be sealed with two coats of a copper-based end-cut preservative (min. 1% copper) to maintain coverage
WESTERN RED CEDAR FRAME — Kiln-Dried; naturally decay- and insect-resistant; 10-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects and premature structural decay
FACTORY ASSEMBLY — 5-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty
CARE — We recommend maintaining exposed wood with Stain & Seal Experts oil-based penetrating stain (available from BarrierBoss) to extend its life and keep the finish looking new
INSTALLATION — Proper installation is the installer's responsibility: correct concrete mix, post-hole diameter and depth for your soil and frost line, and panels set square, plumb and level. Damage or premature wear from improper installation is not covered
MODIFICATIONS — Cutting, drilling or altering the steel exposes unprotected edges and voids the steel & coating warranty on the modified component.
Natural weathering, checking and minor warping of wood are normal characteristics — not defects

❓ FAQ

What is a hog wire topper and why choose one?
The lower section is solid corrugated steel for privacy and the top section is open hog wire. You keep sightlines and airflow above eye level while still screening the yard, which suits pool surrounds, patios and view lots.

What sizes are available?
Five heights, all 8' wide: 4' x 8', 5' x 8', 6' x 8' (most popular), 7' x 8' and 8' x 8'. Taller sizes give a larger open section above the solid panel.

Do these arrive assembled?
Yes. The corrugated section, the hog wire topper and the frame arrive as one assembled panel ready to mount between your posts.

Which frame should I choose?
Pressure Treated carries a lifetime warranty and is the value choice. Western Red Cedar carries a 10-year warranty and is chosen for appearance. Both are factory-finished.

What warranty covers the metal?
The corrugated steel and hog wire carry 40 years against fade and corrosion. The frame is warranted separately by material.

How is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal.
