What sizes and lengths are available?
4x4 and 6x6 posts in 8, 10 and 12 foot lengths. The 4x4 is the standard panel post; 6x6 is used for gate posts, corners and taller runs where extra stiffness matters.
How many posts do I need?
Panels are built for 8' on-centre spacing, so a straight run needs one more post than it has panels: five panels needs six posts. Add a post at every corner and on both sides of a gate.
Pressure Treated or Western Red Cedar?
Pressure Treated is the most popular and the one we recommend for ground contact; it carries a lifetime warranty. Kiln-dried Western Red Cedar is the appearance choice and carries 10 years.
Are these rated for ground contact?
Yes, these are ground-contact fence posts, which is a different treatment rating from general-purpose treated lumber. Using a non-ground-contact post in soil is the most common cause of early post failure.
Can I order posts with my panels?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier, and Crane Truck is not available, so these ship to Standard regions only. C$500 order minimum. - Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
- Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
- Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
- Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
