What gauge and profile are BarrierBoss Corten fence panels?
26-gauge Corten weathering steel in a 7/8" corrugated or ribbed profile — a rigid structural panel, not thin roofing offcuts. The steel is uncoated by design: the colour is the alloy itself, not a paint, so it is identical on both faces and the fence looks finished from either side.

What colors and sizes do the Corten panels come in?
Six colors: Black, Brown, Grey, Corten (weathering-steel look), Galvalume (silver) and Cream. Five stock heights — 38"×45", 38"×57", 38"×69", 38"×81" and 38"×93" — so you can match most fence-line heights without cutting.

Will Corten fence panels rust?
Yes — deliberately, and that is the product. Corten is weathering steel: it forms a tight, self-sealing rust patina that then protects the steel underneath. Panels arrive bright and darken over the first year or so depending on your climate. There is no paint to chip, peel or fade. Your 40-year warranty covers the weathering-steel panels, and the patina is intentional and protective — not a defect. One thing worth knowing: run-off can stain light concrete while the patina is forming, so plan for that at the base of the fence.

How long until my Corten fence arrives, and how is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier. Crane Truck is available there too, priced by zone and order total from C$199 to C$499 (Loose Truck C$149 to C$449), with no free tier, in about 4–6 weeks. C$500 order minimum. Your estimated delivered date is in the estimate box on this page.

Can Corten panels be installed horizontally or vertically?
Loose sheets ship ready for vertical installation — each sheet is 38" wide and cut to your full panel height, with the corrugation running vertically. You can rotate them to run horizontally if you prefer; just plan your frame and sheet count around the rotated dimensions. Either way, mount inside a metal or pressure-treated wood frame, space posts 6–8 ft, set them at least 2 ft deep in concrete, and fasten with self-tapping screws and sealing washers to stop rust streaks.

Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
