Galvanized After Welding — Why Our Welds Don't Rust

Every BarrierBoss panel is Class 3 heavy galvanized — the heaviest standard wire galvanizing class — applied AFTER welding, then sealed in our heavy-duty dip-coat. Welds are the natural weak point of any welded panel: typical competitor panels are welded from pre-galvanized wire, which burns the zinc off every wire intersection and leaves hundreds of bare-steel points hiding under a thin dip-coated. That's where they rust first. Our zinc goes on after the welds are made, so the entire panel — welds included — carries full protection. What sizes do these railing panels come in?
Four sizes: 3' x 6' (most popular), 3' x 8', 4' x 6' and 4' x 8'. The 3' heights suit a standard deck guard; the 4' heights are used on elevated decks and balconies.

Which wire opening is right for a deck?
2" x 2" and 1" x 1" are the tighter meshes normally chosen where a guard must restrict passage. 4" x 4" gives the most open view and 2" x 6" is a wider rectangular mesh. Check your provincial and municipal railing code first, as opening size is what codes regulate.

Framed or unframed?
Unframed is the bare 6-gauge hot-dipped galvanized mesh for your own railing frame. Pressure Treated and Western Red Cedar options arrive framed and ready to mount between posts.

Why choose brown?
Brown is the warm, earth-toned option that tends to recede against timber decking and landscaping, rather than drawing the hard graphic line that black does.

What warranty applies?
40 years on the wire and coating. A framed panel also carries its frame term: lifetime for Pressure Treated, 10 years for Western Red Cedar.

We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) unframed panels travel Loose Truck from C$49 and framed panels travel Crane Truck from C$149, each priced by delivery zone — about 2–4 weeks for both in Zone 1. Delivery is priced by zone, not by order total — Loose Truck C$49 in Zone 1 up to C$249 in Zone 4, Crane Truck C$149 up to C$349 — and is free on orders of C$5,000 or more. Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.

Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
