❓ FAQ

What sizes are available?
4' wide man gates in 4', 5', 6' (most popular), 7' and 8' heights, plus 12' wide double swing gates in the same five heights for driveway openings.

Is the colour the same on both sides?
Yes. The HDP paint is applied to both faces of the panel, so the fence looks finished from your side and your neighbour’s. There is no “good side” and “bad side” to agree on with a neighbour the way there is with a wood fence.

What is the corrugated profile?
The classic 7/8" corrugated wave in 26-gauge steel, pre-finished in HDP NoFade paint. It matches our corrugated fence panels, so gate and fence ordered together line up visually.

Cedar or Pressure Treated frame?
Western Red Cedar is the premium look and carries a 10-year warranty. Pressure Treated is the value choice and carries a lifetime warranty. Both arrive pre-finished and assembled.

Is hardware included?
No — gate hardware is sold separately. The gate itself arrives pre-assembled and squared from our shop, which is the part of a fence job most likely to go wrong on site. Add the Universal Black Gate Hardware Kit for the heavy-duty black hinges, latches and bracing to hang it.

What colours can I order?
Black, Brown, Grey, Corten Steel, Cream and Galvalume (Silver), the same finishes as the matching panels.

How is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier. Crane Truck is available there too, priced by zone and order total from C$199 to C$499 (Loose Truck C$149 to C$449), with no free tier, in about 4–6 weeks. C$500 order minimum. Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.

Not your fault but there was some twisting in the lumber that caused the panels to not line up

Not your fault but there was some twisting in the lumber that caused the panels to not line up. I added a barrel bolt to the bottom of the gate so it lines up when it's closed. The fence panel kit that I bought had worst lumber in it, about 1/3 of the lumber was unusable as a full fence panel. I did make a 4 1/2' gate out of it. I will be returning some posts that are warped.

Was a little disappointed with the build quality. Looks like it was rushed together so I had to take panels apart to square them and replace some 1x2 boards that were split from driving screws in.
