Galvanized After Welding — Why Our Welds Don't Rust

Every BarrierBoss panel is Class 3 heavy galvanized — 150 gsm of zinc, the heaviest standard wire galvanizing class — applied AFTER welding, then sealed in our heavy-duty dip-coat. Welds are the natural weak point of any welded panel: typical competitor panels are welded from pre-galvanized wire, which burns the zinc off every wire intersection and leaves hundreds of bare-steel points hiding under a thin dip-coated. That's where they rust first. Our zinc goes on after the welds are made, so the entire panel — welds included — carries full protection. What is the gate made from?
Welded 6-gauge hot-dipped heavy-galvanized steel mesh in a pre-built frame, supplied with hinges and hardware. It is the same heavy wire as our cattle panels, not a lighter gate-grade mesh.

What sizes are available?
Man gates at 4' wide in 4', 5', 6', 7' and 8' heights, and double swing gates at 12' wide in the same five heights for driveways and equipment access.

What frame options are there?
Pressure Treated (lifetime warranty), Western Red Cedar (10-year warranty), or a Full Metal Frame if you want no wood in the gate at all. The metal frame is the zero-maintenance option.

Is hardware included?
Yes, hinges and hardware ship with the gate, and it arrives pre-framed and squared. Squaring is the step most likely to go wrong when a gate is built on site.

What colours can I order?
Black (most popular), Silver, Brown and Corten Steel.

How is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier, and Crane Truck is not available, so these ship to Standard regions only. C$500 order minimum. Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
