What is metal cladding used for?
It is the exterior wall surface for homes, barns, shops and commercial buildings, chosen where low maintenance matters more than the look of wood or vinyl. There is nothing to repaint.
What steel and finish is used?
26-gauge steel with an HDP finish that resists fading, corrosion and rust, in Black (most popular), Grey, Brown, Cream and Galvalume (Silver).
Can I order custom lengths?
Yes. Cutting to length means fewer joints in the wall run and much less offcut waste than buying fixed lengths.
How does it hold up to a Canadian winter?
Steel does not become brittle and crack in deep cold the way aged vinyl can, and it sheds snow and ice rather than absorbing water. The HDP finish carries a 40-year fade and corrosion warranty.
Does it need maintenance?
No painting, staining or sealing. An occasional rinse is enough.
How is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) unframed panels travel Loose Truck (C$49, about 2–4 weeks) and framed ones Crane Truck (C$149, about 2–4 weeks); checkout shows which applies, and both are free over C$2,500. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier, and both Loose Truck and Crane Truck run, in about 4–6 weeks. C$500 order minimum. - Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
- Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
- Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
- Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
