Galvanized After Welding — Why Our Welds Don't Rust

Every BarrierBoss panel is Class 3 heavy galvanized — 150 gsm of zinc, the heaviest standard wire galvanizing class — applied AFTER welding, then sealed in our heavy-duty dip-coat. Welds are the natural weak point of any welded panel: typical competitor panels are welded from pre-galvanized wire, which burns the zinc off every wire intersection and leaves hundreds of bare-steel points hiding under a thin dip-coated. That's where they rust first. Our zinc goes on after the welds are made, so the entire panel — welds included — carries full protection. It's the reason we back the wire and finish for 40 years, nearly three times the coverage of leading hog wire competitors.

What is a hog wire topper and why choose one?
The lower section is solid corrugated steel for privacy and the top section is open hog wire. You keep sightlines and airflow above eye level while still screening the yard, which suits pool surrounds, patios and view lots.

What sizes are available?
Five heights, all 8' wide: 4' x 8', 5' x 8', 6' x 8' (most popular), 7' x 8' and 8' x 8'. Taller sizes give a larger open section above the solid panel.

Do these arrive assembled?
Yes. The corrugated section, the hog wire topper and the frame arrive as one assembled panel ready to mount between your posts.

Which frame should I choose?
Pressure Treated carries a lifetime warranty and is the value choice. Western Red Cedar carries a 10-year warranty and is chosen for appearance. Both are factory-finished.

What warranty covers the metal?
The corrugated steel and hog wire carry 40 years against fade and corrosion. The frame is warranted separately by material.

How is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier, and Crane Truck is not available, so these ship to Standard regions only. C$500 order minimum.
