About the Role

We’re expanding our yard operations and adding a high-performance forklift & load planning specialist to our existing yard team.

This is not a basic forklift position. You’ll be working alongside experienced team members to improve trailer loading, space utilization, and yard flow as our shipping volume continues to grow.

If you take pride in clean yards, tight loads, and proactive planning, this role will suit you well.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
• Working with the yard team to stage, pack, and load trailers
• Planning trailer loads for multi-stop and long-haul routes
• Maximizing trailer space while maintaining safe weight distribution
• Sequencing freight to minimize re-handling and unload issues
• Helping keep the yard organized, labeled, and flowing
• Spotting inefficiencies and suggesting better systems

How You’ll Work

• You’ll collaborate daily with:
• Yard operators
• Production
• Dispatch / logistics
• You’ll be encouraged to think ahead, not just react
• You’ll have the authority to improve how loads are planned and staged

What We’re Looking For

• Proven forklift experience in a yard, manufacturing, or logistics setting
• Strong understanding of trailer loading and space optimization
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working as part of a team while owning your area
• Safety-focused with pride in doing things right the first time

Not a Fit If

• You prefer strictly being told what to do
• You’re not detail-driven
• You’re uncomfortable improving systems or speaking up
