Where most makers stop at 29-gauge and SMP paint, we build the Classic Rib in 26-gauge steel finished both sides with premium HDP — stronger, and far more fade- and rust-resistant. The low 3/4" rib at 8⅝" on centre gives a clean, contemporary roofline in 45" widths and lengths from 45" to 96". Nearly maintenance-free and fully recyclable. Factory-direct, delivered on our own trucks with complimentary unloading, and backed by our 40-year warranty.

Are you replacing your roof and want a look that stands out from the crowd? Classic rib metal roofing panels from BarrierBoss may be the answer. The classic rib has a low profile rib height of ¾”. These panels attach to the roof substrate with fasteners that perforate the panel’s facing.

HDP Finish: Most classic rib metal roofing panel manufacturers use SMP paint to finish their projects. But at BarrierBoss, we take it up a notch and use HDP paint, also known as polyvinylidene fluoride. We also paint our panels on both sides.
45" Widths: Our panels are 45” wide and are cut to length from 45" to 96".
Built to Last: Our metal products are crafted from 26-gauge metal, which is stronger and thicker than the 29-gauge metal you may see elsewhere. We warranty all of our metal products for 40-years. However, most classic rib metal roof panels will last far longer.
Minimal Maintenance: One of the best benefits of metal roofing is the low maintenance. It’s almost like it’s a one-and-done roof! Just be sure to clean it from debris such as tree branches when necessary. And, clear gutters and downspouts to prevent water build-up.

What does the Classic Rib profile look like?
A low rib height, so the roof reads flatter and more restrained than corrugated or deep groove. It is the choice where the roof should not dominate the look of the building.

What colours are available?
Black (most popular), Brown, Grey, Cream and Galvalume (Silver) in the HDP NoFade finish.

Should I order full-length panels?
Where the run allows, yes. One panel from ridge to eave means no horizontal lap, which removes the most common leak point on a metal roof.

Is it suitable for heavy snow?
26-gauge steel over properly spaced purlins handles snow load well, and metal sheds snow far better than asphalt. Confirm your span and purlin spacing against your local load requirements before ordering.

What is the warranty?
40 years against fade and corrosion on the steel and coating.

How is it delivered?
Quick Ship or Crane Truck depending on panel length and quantity, shown at checkout. Free over $2,500, otherwise $49 or $149, delivered and unloaded on your property.

Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
