Summary

The last fence post you'll ever set: welded-aluminum in-ground posts in matte black, 4"x4" and 5"x5". They can't rot like wood or rust like steel — set them in concrete once and forget them. Run our aluminum or steel privacy panels, or use them to replace the rotted 4x4 under an existing wood fence and keep your boards. Three lengths (6', 9', 12') matched to our steel post grid, with extra below-grade length on the taller posts. Made in Canada, delivered and unloaded on your property and unloaded.

Description

The last fence post you'll ever set. Welded-aluminum in-ground fence posts in matte black, in 4" x 4" and 5" x 5" profiles. They can't rot like wood and can't rust like steel — set them in concrete once and forget them.

One Post, Two Jobs

Run our aluminum or steel panels — the post system carries our privacy fence panels for a complete zero-rust build.
Replace rotted wood posts under an existing wood fence — keep your boards, swap the failure point. Aluminum posts are the permanent fix for the 4x4 that keeps rotting off at grade.

Never Dig Out a Rotted Post Again

Wood posts fail where they meet the ground. Aluminum has no grain to wick water and nothing to rot — the below-grade section is as permanent as the concrete around it. The 9' and 12' lengths carry extra below-grade length for taller fence runs.

Sizing — Same Grid as Our Steel Posts

Two profiles and three lengths, matching our steel fence post grid exactly: choose 4" x 4" for standard fence lines, or 5" x 5" for gate posts and heavier-duty runs. 6' posts for low runs and rail work, 9' for standard privacy heights, 12' for 8' privacy fencing.

Aluminum vs steel fence posts?

Both outlast wood by decades. Aluminum adds zero-rust for life and lighter handling; steel offers maximum stiffness for the heaviest gate posts. For most fence lines, aluminum is the set-and-forget option.

What post spacing should I use?

6' or 8' on-center, matching our panel widths.

Do I need rot protection sleeves on these?

No — sleeves protect wood posts. Aluminum needs nothing below grade. (If you're keeping wood posts elsewhere on the run, see our Post Rot Protection System.)

Structural modifications beyond normal installation void the warranty. Installation quality is the installer's responsibility — improper installation is not covered.

How is it delivered and how long does it take?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Loose Truck for a flat C$49, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by zone and order total and there is no free tier. Loose Truck is available there too, from C$149 to C$449, in about 4–6 weeks. C$500 order minimum. What is the warranty?

Will aluminium rust?
No. Aluminium does not rust, which is why it suits coastal and poolside sites. Use stainless or coated fasteners rather than plain steel — dissimilar metals in contact are what cause corrosion on an aluminium fence.

Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
