How is it delivered and how long does it take?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by zone and order total and there is no free tier. Crane Truck is available there too, from C$199 to C$499, in about 4–6 weeks. C$500 order minimum. What is the warranty?
BarrierBoss 25-year limited structural warranty on the welded 6063-T5 aluminum — aluminum cannot rust, including at cut edges. 15-year limited warranty on the factory matte black finish (peeling, flaking; gradual gloss reduction from weathering is normal, not a defect). Structural modifications beyond normal installation void the warranty.
What sizes are available?
4' x 4' (Man Gate), 5' x 4', 6' x 4', 7' x 4', 8' x 4', 4' x 12' (Double Swing), 5' x 12', 6' x 12', 7' x 12', 8' x 12'. Every size is made to order, so you are not limited to what happens to be in stock.
Will aluminium rust?
No. Aluminium does not rust, which is why it suits coastal and poolside sites. Use stainless or coated fasteners rather than plain steel — dissimilar metals in contact are what cause corrosion on an aluminium fence.
Is there an installation guide?
Yes — a product-specific installation and care guide is in the Guides, Videos & Downloads section on this page. It covers handling on arrival, post requirements, step-by-step installation, cutting and sealing, and long-term maintenance.
- Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
- Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
- Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
- Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
