What is steel board fencing?
A modern post-and-rail fence built entirely from dip-coat galvanized steel — horizontal steel "boards" (rails) running between steel posts. It gives the clean ranch-rail look without the rot, warping, splintering or repainting of wood.
How is steel board fencing priced and sized?
By the linear foot, so you order exactly the run length you need — no wasted panels. Choose a 3-rail or 4-rail configuration depending on the height and the amount of screening you want.
Will steel board rust or need maintenance?
No. It is fluidized dip-coat galvanized steel — the coating seals the whole rail, not just the surface — backed by a 40-year warranty against rust, fade and corrosion. No staining, no sealing, no repainting, ever.
How is steel board fencing delivered?
It ships on our Crane Truck service, about 2–4 weeks, on BARRIERBOSS Residential Delivery — delivered and unloaded on your property by our own crew. Made in West Kelowna, BC; we serve British Columbia and Alberta.
- Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
- Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
- Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
- Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
