What sizes do the planter boxes come in?
Two footprints: 2' x 4' and 4' x 6'. The 2' x 4' suits a patio, deck edge or balcony; the 4' x 6' is the raised-bed size for vegetable growing.
Do they arrive assembled?
Yes. The steel and the frame arrive built as one unit, so you place it and fill it rather than assembling on site.
Is the wood safe for growing food?
Western Red Cedar is the usual choice for edibles and is naturally rot-resistant without treatment. Pressure Treated is the more durable, lower-cost frame. If you want to avoid treated lumber contact with soil for food crops, choose cedar or line the interior.
Will it survive a Canadian winter outdoors?
The steel and frame will. As with any planter, give it drainage so water is not trapped and freezing inside, which is what splits timber and heaves soil.
What colours are available?
Black, Brown and Grey in HDP NoFade paint, matching our fence panel finishes so a planter can tie into an existing fence line.
How is it delivered?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) these travel Crane Truck for a flat C$149, free over C$2,500, made to order in about 2–4 weeks. In our Extended regions delivery is priced by distance and order total, there is no free tier, and Crane Truck is not available, so these ship to Standard regions only. C$500 order minimum. - Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
- Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
- Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
- Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
