Most projects fit the sizes listed on this page — those are what we build, stock and price online.

We do make custom sizes within our standard range, and we quote them case by case. If your run falls between two listed sizes — say you need 7′ 6″ when we list 7′ and 8′ — we can build it. The cost depends on the dimensions, the profile and how much material the cut leaves behind, so custom sizes are not listed or priced on the site. Send us the measurements and we will tell you what is possible and what it costs.

Custom sizes are final sale. A panel cut to your dimensions cannot be restocked or sold to anyone else, so custom-sized orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Please confirm your measurements before you approve the quote.

These products can all be modified on site. Trimming a panel to close out a run is normal work, and you do not need us to do it for you — ask and we will walk you through how to cut and seal it properly so the finish holds up.

Just know that a cut edge is no longer a factory edge: cutting or drilling exposes unprotected steel and voids the steel & coating warranty on that component. Done the right way and sealed properly it will still last — so ask us before you cut.

What makes BarrierBoss hog wire heavier than big-box panels?
The welded mesh is 6-gauge (4.9 mm) wire — noticeably thicker than the 8–10-gauge panels sold at most home centers. It is dip-coated steel, not powder-coated, so the coating bonds into the welds where rust normally starts.

What colors and mesh sizes are available?
Dip-coated finishes in grey, brown, silver, green and Corten, plus marine-grade 316 stainless for coastal builds. Mesh openings come in 2"×2" and 4"×4". Panels are sold framed (ready to mount) or unframed (loose infill for your own frame).

Framed or unframed hog wire — which do I need?
Unframed panels are the lowest-cost infill when you are building your own wood or metal frame. Framed panels arrive in a welded steel frame ready to hang between posts. Both use the same 6-gauge dip-coated mesh and the 40-year steel warranty.

How fast do hog wire panels ship?
We deliver on our own trucks and unload on your property — no freight broker, no depot, no LTL terminal. In our Standard regions (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) unframed panels travel Loose Truck from C$49 and framed panels travel Crane Truck from C$149, each priced by delivery zone — about 2–4 weeks for both in Zone 1. Delivery is priced by zone, not by order total — Loose Truck C$49 in Zone 1 up to C$249 in Zone 4, Crane Truck C$149 up to C$349 — and is free on orders of C$5,000 or more. Is hog wire fence good for dogs, livestock or deck railing?
Yes — the rigid 6-gauge welded grid holds its shape against animals and impact without sagging like field fence. The same panels are used for dog runs, garden and livestock enclosures, and in code-height sizes as modern deck-railing infill.

Standard-size items (unused, original condition) — returnable within 30 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. We pick returns up on our own trucks (scheduled around truck availability), at no return-freight charge to you. Because we handle the transport, you're not liable for any transit damage.
Custom, cut-to-size & made-to-order items — because these are built to your exact spec, they are final sale.
Cancellations — full refund before your order enters production; once in production or scheduled to ship, a 25% restocking fee applies.
Damaged or defective on arrival — fully covered. Every shipment is freight-insured end to end, so anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded at no cost — you're never on the hook for transit damage.
